For a class project, I was tasked with conceptualizing a company from scratch and creating a brand identity for it. LUCID is a music management company that specializes in discovering upcoming talent. They are bold, yet polished; classic, yet forward-thinking.
The logo and color scheme are inspired by neon signs and the vaporwave movement, giving off a retrofuturistic vibe that matches the company’s identity. The “C” in the logo doubles as imagery of a CD or vinyl record. The brand identity incorporates black and white photography, which furthers the classic feel while also allowing the logo to stand out.
